General News for All Our Families:
Please pardon our dust - while we finish the construction around the building. If you haven’t noticed, take a look at the big hole in the wall between the preschool room and the dance room. Our preschool program continues to grow by leaps and bounds and we quickly outgrew the space we were in. We have some new equipment and more is coming. We plan to have everything in its new place by the end of April. These improvements are for you. Thank you for believing in our program.
The Best Way to Bring-A Friend to Class:
Do your kids talk about class with their friends at school? Maybe a friend would like to join them. We always offer 1 free trial class to new students, so call ahead see if there is space available in your child’s class. We want you to feel free to invite friends and neighbors anytime to check out Kids World Gymnastics. Please remember they will need a signed waiver to participate. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Announcing Our Student Showcase Format Change
With everyone's schedule filling up quickly with Spring activities, we've decided to change the presentation format for the Student Showcase Event. Instead of having a weekend "fun meet" event, we are building into our class program next session a special time for parents to share up-close what your children have accomplished.
This "Showcase for Parents" Class, is where parents are invited into the gym area during a special class time to cheer and snap photographs. The children will present special routines they've been working on for weeks. It will be a great chance for your children to show you all they can do, what skills they've built, and how much they've accomplished using all our equipment with coaches on hand. Plus, it will fit easier in your schedule and not take away from other weekend activities. Watch for more information and your class schedule for the "Showcase for Parents" Class.
Let us know what other ways we can support your family and your child. We are so proud of each and every student!

Current Class Activities:
Preschool Gymnastics / Tumbletots
You & Me – Wow, we are so happy to see these classes doing so well. You & Me is designed for you to interact with your child in a safe yet exciting atmosphere. We sure hope all of you are eager to come to class each week with your child and enjoy spending some special time together, just the two of you. What a unique way to share new experiences with your child.
2 year old class – For those of you ready to graduate from a You & Me class, talk to your coach see if he/she thinks your child will be successful in a class by themselves, but hurry, there are only 2 spaces left in our 2 year old class.
3 year old class – Wow, these guys have a lot of energy. Miss Amanda, Miss Dana and Mr. Daniel really get a good workout keeping up with the 3 year olds. Keep up the good work, not only are these kiddos learning a bit about gymnastics, they are learning some good social skills as well. Good job guys!
4 & 5 year olds – We have had a lot of 5 year olds move up into our general program this past session and several more this coming session.
Congratulations to all of you for working hard and sticking with the program. Miss Erin is seeing a lot of potential in these new 6 year olds and has even mentioned that some of them may be candidates for an advanced class. Good job guys, you must have learned a lot in preschool gymnastics to be advancing so quickly.

Open Gym & Make-ups
We know that this time of year gets busy for everyone. If you miss a class we do allow for 2 make ups per sessions. All make ups must be done in the same session unless you miss the last week. If you are in one of our 1 ½ classes you may do a make up in open gym. Because we don’t allow preschoolers in open gym all make ups must be in an age appropriate class that has availability. Open Gym is on Tuesday from 3:30-5:00pm and Wednesday from 8:00-9:30pm.

St. Louis Elite T&T
March was a good month for St. Louis Elite Trampoline & Tumbling. They had two competitions – one in Indiana and the other at home in St. Louis – and they had a very dominant presence at each one.
On March 15 the team took nine athletes to compete in Washington, Indiana. The team won nine gold medals, nine silver medals, and four bronze medals.
On March 29, St. Louis Elite hosted its first large competition, which was called Meet Me in St. Louis. Sixteen gyms from three states brought over 150 athletes to Lindbergh High School in South County, the site of the competition. Seventeen athletes from St. Louis Elite Trampoline & Tumbling competed and won 21 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals. They also brought home the Best Overall Team Award, presented to the club with the highest three scores on each of the three major events: trampoline, power tumbling, and double mini trampoline.
April will see fewer competitions than the preceding months, but training will intensify as the competition for April is the Missouri State Championships on April 26th in Joplin, Missouri. This is the first step for athletes hoping to qualify for the 2008 National Championships in Kansas City. Good luck, everyone!
